Abortion, America and God’s judgment

If we can look at the historical accounts of God’s judgment against the Israelites who would mimic the pagan culture they were surrounded with when it comes to idolatry and child sacrifice, the judgment has come upon them as God permitted the invasion of the Assyrian army and the Babylonian army and being exiled was a way to show that He is the only life giver and the only One who can take that life away. In our modern day sure there always have been abortions of some type whether legal or illegal, the life that is being formed is being ripped from them. Until 1973 Roe V Wade has made it the law of the land to have an abortion and medical clinics like Planned Parenthood have provided the majority of abortions. Planned Parenthood is a type of pagan god Molech whom all infants were being sacrificed to.
Who was Molech? Molech is the god of the Ammonites (1 Kings 11:7). Molech is connected to Topeth (near Jerusalem in the valley of Ben Hinnom). The worship of Molech was present during the reign of Solomon (1 Kings 11:7) and it ended by the reforms of Josiah in 7th B.C. (2 Kings 23:13). The sacrifice to Molech usually involves child sacrifice and especially firstborn males, Leviticus 20:2-5-” Say to the people of Israel, Any man of the people of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn in Israel, who gives any of his children to Molech shall be put to death; the people of the land shall stone him with stones. 3 I myself will set my face against that man, and will cut him off from among his people, because he has given one of his children to Molech, defiling my sanctuary and profaning my holy name. 4 And if the people of the land do at all hide their eyes from that man, when he gives one of his children to Molech, and do not put him to death, 5 then I will set my face against that man and against his family, and will cut them off from among their people, him and all who follow him in playing the harlot after Molech.”
Leviticus 18:21-“You shall not give any of your children to devote them by fire to Molech, and so profane the name of your God: I am the Lord.” And see 2 Kings 23:10 and Jeremiah 32:35. We also see how king Ahaz has allowed his child go through the fire, 2 Kings 16:2-3-” Ahaz was twenty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem. And he did not do what was right in the eyes of the Lord his God, as his father David had done, 3 but he walked in the way of the kings of Israel. He even burned his son as an offering, according to the abominable practices of the nations whom the Lord drove out before the people of Israel.” The punishment was when Rezin king of Syrian and Pekah the son Remaliah king of Israel wage war against Jerusalem (2 Kings 16:5), even though they didn’t conquer Jerusalem, they took many spoils. Now the prophet Obed met up with the victorious army of Pekah and said this, 2 Chronicle 28:9-“But a prophet of the Lord was there, whose name was Oded; and he went out to meet the army that came to Samar′ia, and said to them, “Behold, because the Lord, the God of your fathers, was angry with Judah, he gave them into your hand, but you have slain them in a rage which has reached up to heaven”. It’s important to notice that God allowed Judah to be given into the hands of Northern Israel king Pekah for a reason, because He was angry with them for the sins they have committed and child sacrifice being one of them besides idolatry.

Let’s look at King Manesseh who was evil in the sight of the Lord (2 Kings 21:2) has done the same thing by burning his son as a sacrifice (2 Kings 21:6). God said Israel will no longer wander around the land that He has given to their fathers (2 Kigns 21:8), God will wipe out Jerusalem as one wipes the dish and cast off the remnant of his heritage into the hands of their enemies (2 Kings 21:13-14) On both instances Gods judgment was upon them because of their wicked deeds and moreover Manesseh shed innocent blood (2 Kings 21:16). What was king Manesseh’s punishment for not repenting of his ways? 2 Chronicles 33:10-11- “The Lord spoke to Manas′seh and to his people, but they gave no heed. 11 Therefore the Lord brought upon them the commanders of the army of the king of Assyria, who took Manas′seh with hooks and bound him with fetters of bronze and brought him to Babylon.” This explains the exile from Jerusalem to Babylon. I will explain another factor about Manasseh’s prayer later on. I can’t express enough how abortion is like infanticide except abortion happens inside the womb. Here is more description of child sacrifice in the name of pleasing pagan gods anger’s the Lord.

Psalm 106:37-38-“They sacrificed their sins and daughters to the demons; they poured out innocent blood, the blood of their sons and daughters while they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan; and the land was polluted with blood.” This angers God and what was their punishment? Psalm 106:40-42-“Then the anger of the Lord was kindled against his people, and he abhorred his heritage; 41 he gave them into the hand of the nations, so that those who hated them ruled over them. 42 Their enemies oppressed them, and they were brought into subjection under their power. “We as a nation need to rebuke abortion and all of its form and repent to God and stand up and fight for life, Wisdom 11:6-9-“Instead of the fountain of an ever-flowing river, stirred up and defiled with blood 7 in rebuke for the decree to slay the infants, thou gavest them abundant water unexpectedly, 8 showing by their thirst at that time how thou didst punish their enemies. 9 For when they were tried, though they were being disciplined in mercy, they learned how the ungodly were tormented when judged in wrath.” Think about the Mayan civilization that has practiced human sacrifice and especially children. How come they don’t exist anymore? God has send a Spanish army “Los Conquistadores” to eradicate them in 1697.

We as America can fall into a similar judgment for voting for a pro-abortion candidate, regardless of Roe V Wade decision to allow abortion for up to 24 weeks, because of viability, but then you have the following case Doe v Bolton that would allow abortion after 24 weeks due to health reasons which has a broad definition. Man’s law is not above God’s law, “thou shalt not kill.” Now a pro-abortion candidate recently said in a recent debate 10/20/16, “I have met with women who toward the end of their pregnancy get the worst news one could get, that their health is in jeopardy if they continue to carry to term or that something terrible has happened or just been discovered about the pregnancy.” Mr. Trump only reiterated her comments,” With what Hillary is saying, in the ninth month, you can take the baby and rip the baby out of the womb of the mother just prior to the birth of the baby. Now, you can say that that’s okay, and Hillary can say that that’s okay, but that’s not okay with me.” Since Roe V Wade don’t consider fetuses as persons, Hilary Clinton also said on NBC’s Meet The Press, “The unborn person doesn’t have constitutional rights.” The fact that an abortion can occur at any point of the pregnancy and the unborn persons don’t have the same rights has humans do, when in fact it’s been scientifically proven they are human. To move forward as a nation to allow the killing of innocence in a place where they are supposed to be protected is a path that we follow like the kings of Judah and the Mayans.

I want to follow up what Manasseh did after he was being exiled to Babylon. 2 Chronicles 33:12-13-“And when he was in distress he entreated the favor of the Lord his God and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers. 13 He prayed to him, and God received his entreaty and heard his supplication and brought him again to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manas′seh knew that the Lord was God.” Yes, he repented and God has heard his prayers. This mean it’s not too late to repent as a nation and return as a nation blessed by God. This next verse is what I will end it with and it should be in the heart of every single Christian. 2 Chronicles 7:14-“if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
